KUALA LUMPUR: Pentamaster Corp Bhd
has reiterated its optimism for the full financial year amid sustained demand within the AI Compute and medical segments especially for its FAS segment.
The group said it remains committed to capitalising on the structural growth opportunities arising from the increasing adoption of AI and the ongoing transformation of the global semiconductor and automation industries.
While it said it is well-positioned to support its next phase of growth, it acknowledged the prevailing macroeconomic uncertainties, geopolitical developments and evolving global trade dynamics that may influence customers' investment decisions and project timelines.
"Against this backdrop, the group will continue to prioritise operational excellence, prudent cost management and timely project execution to sustain its competitiveness and deliver long-term value to its stakeholders," it said in its filing with Bursa Malaysia.
In the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2026, Pentamaster recorded a net profit of RM20.44mil, which was higher than RM17.07mil in the year-ago quarter. Quarterly revenue rose to RM224.05mil from RM148.08mil in the previous corresponding quarter.
The stronger growth in profitability, which outpaced revenue growth, was mainly attributable to improved operating leverage and better absorption of fixed overheads arising from higher revenue contributions, coupled with a more favourable sales mix and improved project margins during the quarter.
Over three quarters, the group's net profit came to RM58.63mil on revenue of RM585.27mil, an improvement from a net profit of RM43.27mil and revenue of RM424.56mil in the year-ago period.
