KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit ended the week firmer against the US dollar, closing higher on Friday as the greenback retreated amid risk-on sentiment ahead of the United States (US) nonfarm payroll data due later today, an economist said.
At 6 pm, the ringgit rose to 4.7155/7185 against the greenback compared to Wednesday's closing rate of 4.7305/7355.
