KUALA LUMPUR: Binasat Communications Bhd
(Binacom) has appointed Ong Soon Lim as group managing director/executive director, succeeding Na Boon Aik.
The company also appointed Teh Li King as a non-independent non-executive director, effective January 26, 2024.
Ong, 58, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, having held key leadership positions in several corporations, including his immediate role as the executive director of Hextar Capital Bhd.
“I am honored and excited to step into the role of group managing director at Binacom. I look forward to building on the strong foundation established under Na’s leadership to working collaboratively with the talented team to drive innovation and sustainable success,” Ong said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Teh, 45, has solid experience in management, banking, and manufacturing and a distinguished career within the Hextar Group of Companies.
