Asia Media proposes change of name to MMM Group


KUALA LUMPUR: Asia Media Group Bhd has proposed to change its name to MMM Group Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the proposed name, MMM Group was reserved and approved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) on Dec 27, 2023.

It added that the reservation for the use of the proposed name is valid for 30 days from will expire on Jan 26, 2024.

“The company will apply for an extension of time on the reservation for the proposed name for another 30 days before the proposed name expiry on Jan 26,” it said

The proposed change of name is subject to the approval of the shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting to be convened at a date to be announced later.
