MIDF Research expects Malaysia's GDP growth to improve to 4.7% in 2024

KUALA LUMPUR: MIDF Research expects Malaysia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate to improve to 4.7 per cent in 2024, supported by the recovery in external trade and sustained growth in domestic demand.

Director and head of strategy Imran Yassin Md Yusof said positive job market conditions, income growth and continued recovery in the tourism sector would also support the domestic spending outlook.
