PETALING JAYA: The generally positive sentiment of investors over the 5G dual wholesale network (DWN) model implementation has kept up Kenanga Research’s optimistic outlook on the telecommunications industry.

On top of a more moderate regulatory environment, the research house believes that the DWN should also bring about the removal of the government’s monopoly on 5G capacity, and a more efficient roll-out of the second 5G network by private telcommunication companies (telcos) with minimal intervention.
