Ringgit ends higher vs US dollar ahead of FOMC decision


KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit ended higher against the US dollar today ahead of the US Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) interest rate decision due later tonight.

The US dollar Index (DXY), which measures the performance of the greenback against six other major currencies, also traded lower on traders' anticipation that the FOMC will maintain its current interest rates, analysts said.
