KUALA LUMPUR: Companies with recent corporate developments include Comintel, Chin Hin, Careplus, Lion Industries and Dayang, said Apex Research.

Comintel Corp Bhd will be uplifted from its Practice Note 17 (PN17) classification today.

Chin Hin Group Property Bhd has proposed a private placement of RM102.36 million to finance its property development projects.

Careplus Group Bhd is diversifying into the electric vehicle (EV) business.

Lion Industries Corp Bhd is selling two parcels of land for RM92.03 million cash.

Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd’s Pan Malaysia contract has been extended by a year and five months till end-2024.

Overnight, the US market was closed for Labour Day Holiday. Meanwhile, European markets were flat overnight after Germany’s trade data showed better-than-expected exports.

On the local market, the FBM KLCI was flat after shedding 0.71 points or 0.05% to 1462.72 points. Following last week’s rebound, the FBM KLCI could take a breather and hover below the resistance of 1465 points which has been capping the index since July.
