UOB Malaysia relocates KL Main branch to HQ

KUALA LUMPUR: UOB Malaysia has officially launched its Kuala Lumpur Main branch at its new headquarters, UOB Plaza 1 KL.

In a statement, UOB said the bank has reinvented the setup of this flagship branch by providing more experiential spaces to deliver an enhanced personalised customer experience through face-to-face conversations and customised banking advisory and solutions.

"UOB KL Main Branch is our flagship branch and has been serving our customers’ banking needs for close to four decades.

"We are now proud to relocate it to our new headquarters, and have redesigned the space to focus more on customer engagement and advisory," said UOB Malaysia CEO Ng Wei Wei.

According to the bank, the reconfiguration of KL Main branch is part of UOB Malaysia’s branch transformation strategy to cater to the increasing consumer demand for personalised wealth advisory and to serving businesses.

The bank implemented this strategy to support the transformation of its branches nationwide and will complete 14 by the end of 2023.

It aims to redesign all its branches in the next five years.
