Ringgit slips further versus US$ at close


KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit slipped further against the US dollar today as the greenback staged a rebound on firm economic data in the United States and ahead of its inflation report in the middle of the week, analysts said.

At 6 pm, the local note dropped to 4.4070/4120 versus the greenback from Friday’s closing rate of 4.3995/4035.
