Cost of funds rising?


AS most readers are aware, Bank Negara’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) left the key benchmark Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) unchanged at 2.75% when it last met in March 2023.

This was the second time in a row that the MPC left rates unchanged, having done so in the first meeting, which was held in early January.
