PETALING JAYA: Axiata Group Bhd has appointed Vivek Sood as its group chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD) with immediate effect.

Vivek, 59, is currently the group’s acting group CEO and group chief financial officer (CFO) since June 2022 and April 2017, respectively.
