Kelington secures RM170mil construction contract


PETALING JAYA: Kelington Group Bhd has won a contract worth RM170mil to undertake construction works with respect to their integrated chip manufacturing facility at Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone in Kuching.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the engineering services company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd received the award from a “global supplier of micro-electronic semiconductor solutions.”

“The said construction work shall commence in January 2023 and is expected to be completed by March 2024.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Kelington for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2023 and Dec 31, 2024 respectively.”
