Bursa Malaysia registers net foreign inflow of RM72.3mil on first week of 2023 trading


KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign investors kickstarted 2023 on a positive note with RM72.3mil of net purchases on Bursa Malaysia.

According to MIDF Research, the foreign inflow into Malaysia could be owing to positive sentiment over China's reopening as well as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim affirming that the decision on interest rates was the sole perogative of the central bank.
