Tourism minister Tiong King Sing steps down as Timberwell MD

KUALA LUMPUR: Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has resigned as Timberwell Bhd’s managing director.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the timber company said Tiong, 61, resigned from the company due to other personal commitments.

According to the group’s annual report, Tiong has more than 30 years of experience in areas such as property development and construction, healthcare as well as the timber industry.
