Comintel unit secures RM170.7mil building works contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Comintel Corp Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary Total Package Work Sdn Bhd has secured a RM170.7mil contract award from from Butirjaya Maxim Development Sdn Bhd for the main building works of an affordable apartment project in Section 74, Batu, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the development comprises two blocks of affordable apartments of 39- and 40-storeys respectively with a total of 818 units.

It said he contract commences on Dec 15, 2022 and will be completed in 28.5 months.

"The contract is expected to provide additional income stream for the Group over the next three financial years," it added.
