GURUN: Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd
(PetChem) has launched its melamine plant project near its PETRONAS Chemicals Fertiliser Kedah Sdn Bhd complex here.
The plant is targeted to come onstream in 2024 with a capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year, making PetChem the sole melamine producer in South-East Asia, it said in a statement.
