YTL-REIT optimistic about hospitality sector


YTL-REIT’s revenue for the quarter rose 19.05% y-o-y to RM106.4mil while net property income rose 3.73% y-o-y to RM56.76mil.“The income available for distribution in the current financial quarter of RM17.03mil represents a decrease of 3.66% from the preceding year’s corresponding quarter,” it said.

KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (YTL-REIT) is taking the necessary measures to ensure its long-term prospects remain stable, amid the continued Covid-19 threat to its hospitality business.

The REIT is cautiously optimistic about the industry’s outlook but it is taking steps to proactively manage its hotel assets in Malaysia, Australia and Japan.
