Perdana gets contract extension


The company said it will provide the vessel with crew and equipment to perform 24-hour services for assisting and the servicing of drilling rigs, offshore installation, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.

KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Petroleum Bhd’s unit Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd received a work order extension worth RM8.4mil from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd in mid-June.

In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Perdana stated that the contract was for the provision of one unit of anchor handling tug and supply vessel.

“We received the contract extension for a duration of up to 169 days with an option of additional 30 days commencing June 15, 2022,” it said.

The company said it will provide the vessel with crew and equipment to perform 24-hour services for assisting and the servicing of drilling rigs, offshore installation, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.
