Business as usual after delisting


KUALA LUMPUR: The delisting of Brahim’s Holdings Bhd is not expected to have any significant impact on the Dewina Group of Companies, according to Dewina Holdings Sdn Bhd.

“Dewina Group is responsible for the manufacturing and supply of Brahim’s various products and services all operating under Dewina Holdings, the parent company; so there will be no business disruption as a result of this event,” Brahim’s group executive chairman Datuk Seri Ibrahim Ahmad said in a statement.

Dewina Group of Companies comprised Dewina Food Industries which produces Brahim’s brand of food products, Desatera which does industrial catering for the military, Dewina Consult, the research and consulting arm of Dewina Group and Dewina Trading, the distributor of Brahim’s brand of products.

“The Brahim’s brand resilience has helped us to weather the challenges brought about by the pandemic. We are confident that the revival of economic sectors, especially the tourism industry, will present greater opportunities for us to grow our brand presence” Ibrahim said.

Brahim’s has been delisted from the Bursa Malaysia on June 3.
