CIMB to raise base rate, BLR by 25bps on May 18


KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Bank Bhd and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd will increase their base rate and fixed deposit/Fixed Return Income Account-i rates by 25 basis points on May 18, 2022.

In a statement, CIMB said this was in line with Bank Negara raising the overnight policy rate from 1.75% to 2%.
