Rubber exports worth RM71bil recorded in 2021


PETALING JAYA: The local rubber industry has the potential to expand after the country recorded rubber exports worth RM71bil last year, said Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin, Bernama has reported.

She said out of that value, rubber gloves remained the main export earner, contributing RM54.81bil, which was 55.4% higher than 2020.
