Anthony Lim Choon Eng
KUALA LUMPUR: Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Bhd (CGC) has appointed Anthony Lim Choon Eng as independent non-executive director effective April 1, 2022.
Lim has more than 35 years of banking and finance experience, with vast experience in key management positions in treasury, business banking, investment banking, and risk management, CGC said.
He has been an independent director of Bank of America Malaysia Bhd since October 2021, and is also on the investment panel of the Malaysian Government Public Services Pension fund, or Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP), it said in a statement.
Lim graduated with a master’s degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia, and attended both the Senior Leadership Programme and the Advanced Management Programme from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, United States.
"He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance, a senior associate of the Securities Institute of Australia, and a chartered banker of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers," it added. - Bernama
