Maybank unveils Home2u for fast loan approval

Maybank’s Community Financial Services group chief executive officer Datuk John Chong (pic) said that the app is part of the bank’s efforts to address a major pain point among its customers, which is to immediately find out if they can afford to purchase a house and receive recommendations on alternative housing units within their budget.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd has introduced the Maybank Home2u on its MAE app – Malaysia’s first-ever digital home financing solution within an integrated banking application (app), capable of providing approval for financing within 10 seconds upon completion of the application form.

The digital home financing solution is anticipated to contribute more than 20% to the bank’s total home financing approvals over the next 12 months, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
