Destini bags two Mindef contracts worth RM89mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Destini Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd, has secured two contracts from the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) worth a total of RM89 million to provide maintenance services and supply equipment to the military.

"The award of the two contracts will strengthen Destini’s position in the defence aviation industry as the company's capabilities are continuously recognised by the ministry and its affiliates.

"Moving forward, Destini is optimistic it will be able to grow sustainably this year onwards,” the group said in a statement today.

The first contract is an extension of an existing contract, which is to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services and supply safety and survival related equipment for the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

The contract would expire in October 2022 and has a ceiling value of approximately RM88.0 million, the group said.

Meanwhile, the second contract is also to provide MRO services and supply safety and

survival related equipment for the Malaysian Army Aviation for the next three years with a contract value of RM0.99 million, it added. - Bernama
