Bukalapak, Grab unit among firms buying into Indonesia digital bank rights issue

JAKARTA: Indonesian e-commerce firm Bukalapak.com and conglomerate Salim Group will subscribe to a planned 4.8 trillion rupiah ($335.55 million) rights issue by digital lender Allo Bank due to be launched next week, the bank said.

Car marketplace Carro, a subsidiary of ride hailing and food delivery firm Grab, online travel startup Traveloka and Growtheum Capital Partners will also participate in the rights issue, the companies said in a joint statement with other investors and Allo Bank on Wednesday.
