Hwa Tai gets nod to reopen factory

KUALA LUMPUR: Hwa Tai Industries Bhd has received the green light from the Health Ministry to reopen one of its factories in Batu Pahat, Johor, which had been temporarily shuttered to curb the spread of Covid-19 at the premise.

The group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the suspension of operations at the factory will not have any material impact on its financial position.
