Elk-Desa declares two sen dividend

KUALA LUMPUR: Elk-Desa Resources Bhd has declared a single-tier interim dividend of two sen per share following the release of its result for the second quarter of its financial year ending March 31, 2022 (Q2’FY22).

During the quarter in review, the non-bank lender posted a net profit of RM4.8mil, compared with RM10.8mil in Q2’FY21. The lower earnings were mainly due to business disruptions during the movement restrictions between June and September 2021.
