Huawei, FMM embark on digital transformation


FMM president Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai said the collaboration offered the opportunity for manufacturers, especially small and medium enterprises/industries, to leverage on technology to gain further efficiencies and extend their reach beyond domestic shores.

KUALA LUMPUR: Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will serve as an "impetus towards talent development, knowledge sharing and training collaborations.”

In a joint statement yesterday, they said the MOU, among others, would focus on Huawei’s global experience and success in the information and communication technology sector, as well as to leverage on Industry 4.0 for training purposes.
