Quick take: Genting Plantations climbs 3.5%, top gainer on Bursa Malaysia


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Genting Plantations Bhd rose over 3.5% in early trade Tuesday following a report that the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has stepped up share borrowing in the former.

The group rose 3.51%, or 23 sen to RM6.78, making it the top gainer on Bursa Malaysia. It has fallen some 30% so far this year.
