Berjaya announces boardroom changes


The changes, which is effective June 1, include the appointment of five new independent non-executive directors and the redesignation of Datuk Sri Robin Tan Yeong Ching(pic) as non-independent non-executive deputy chairman.

KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Corp Bhd has made changes to its boardroom as part of its ongoing efforts to transform the conglomerate into an institutionalised corporation managed by professionals.

The changes, which is effective June 1, include the appointment of five new independent non-executive directors and the redesignation of Datuk Seri Robin Tan Yeong Ching (pic) as non-independent non-executive deputy chairman.
