Lower net loss for AirAsia in Q1


A year earlier, AirAsia recorded a net loss of RM803.85mil. In the preceding fourth quarter of 2020, the group’s net loss was registered at RM2.44bil.

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia Group Bhd’s net loss narrowed to RM767.42mil in the first quarter ended March 31, although the budget airline remains bogged down by limited operations and over half a billion ringgit in losses from the depreciation of right-of-use assets and interest on lease liabilities.
