KUALA LUMPUR: Gains by Tenaga Nasional enabled the FBM KLCI to close a shade below the key 1,600 level in a trade-shortened day on Thursday, ahead of the Lunar New Year.
At 12.30pm, the KLCI was up 2.57 points or 0.16% to 1,599.42. Turnover was 3.21 billion shares valued at RM2.04bil. The broader market improved with 574 gainers, 383 losers and 452 counters unchanged.
