Temasek CEO Ho Ching to retire Oct 1, Pillay to take over

SINGAPORE: Singapore's Temasek Holdings said its CEO Ho Ching is retiring from the state investor after heading it for 17 years with senior executive Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara to take over from Oct. 1.

Ho, the wife of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, had for several years been expected to step down while the leadership transition to Pillay, a former corporate lawyer, was also widely anticipated by analysts.
