CCM announces changes in boardroom

PETALING JAYA: Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) has announced changes in its boardroom, including the resignation of its chairman, Datuk Idris Kechot, and non-independent director Amizar Mizuar.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CCM said Amizar also resigned as the group’s member of Remuneration Committee and member of Nomination Committee.

Zainal Abidin Jamal also resigned from his position as CCM chairman of the Risk Committee and non-independent director. Tan Chee Heng, Dr Tunku Alina Raja Muhd Alias and Datuk Lee Hau Hian are new non-independent directors. — Bernama
