Asia-Pacific debt markets gain traction


ASIA-PACIFIC debt markets are likely to remain polarised through the rest of 2026, as investors continue chasing stronger credits while punishing weaker borrowers exposed to rising oil prices and currency pressure.

According to Fitch Ratings, investor confidence is returning to parts of the region after volatility earlier this year, with portfolio inflows into global emerging markets rebounding sharply in April.
