TTDI Sentralis on track to become thriving hub

PETALING JAYA: Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd’s TTDI Sentralis is on its way to becoming a thriving commercial hub and coveted address in Shah Alam.

Following a topping up ceremony, the project is slated for completion by next year.

Naza TTDI chief executive officer Daniel Lim Hin Soon said the topping up ceremony marked the completion of its main structural wet works of two of its components, namely Sentralis Lifestyle Sovo Suites and the retail component Trivium Avenue.

“The construction work had been delayed due to some unavoidable technical issues, resulting in some concerns from our buyers. Naza TTDI understands the concerns and is working towards expediting the development to meet the new deadline.

“We hope to complete the entire Sentralis TTDI project by 2021, ” he said in a recent statement.

To expedite the development progress, Naza TTDI discontinued its work with the previous main contractor and appointed Naza Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd in its place for the construction of TTDI Sentralis in March 2020.

However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of the movement control order (MCO), construction was halted, which was later resumed in May with the recovery MCO in place.

With a total gross development value of RM478mil, TTDI Sentralis consists of three components; Sentralis Lifestyle Sovo Suites and Trivium Avenue (retail): both expected to complete by the third quarter of 2021, as well as the Stellar Residences (service apartment) targeted to complete by the fourth quarter of 2021.

The first component of the integrated development is Sentralis Lifestyle Sovo Suites, a low density SoVo with 18 units per floor.

It will consist of 206 units of stylish and flexible office space, with eight layout design choices and a built-up area ranging from 656 sq ft to 1,474 sq ft.

Trivium Avenue is the retail component where the community of TTDI Sentralis can experience shopping, dining and entertainment at their doorstep.

It will cater a wide range of facilities and amenities, including 104 units of retail shops, two drive-thru units and one anchor tenant unit, equipped with 24-hour security.

Stellar Residences is anticipated to be a service apartment project that provides its residents with the sense of safety and convenience in a good location.

Residents can choose from three layout designs with built-up areas raning from 719 sq ft to 1,081 sq ft. Stellar Residences will also have 24-hour security.

TTDI Sentralis is strategically located and has accessibility via multiple major highways including NKVE, Federal Highway, Elite Highway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway and New Klang Valley Expressway, as well as via railway with the nearest stations being the Batu Tiga KTM Station and the upcoming Stadium LRT station.

TTDI Sentralis is set to become a top-notch mixed-modal urban hub and the new lifestyle capital of Shah Alam. It will feature a signature master-planned integration of commercial, retail, offices and residences.
