Vietnam Oct exports up 9.9%, industrial output up 5.4%

HANOI: Vietnam's trade surplus in October likely narrowed to $2.2 billion from $3.5 billion surplus in September, government data released on Thursday showed.

Exports in October are estimated to have risen 9.9% from a year earlier to $26.7 billion, while imports were seen up 10.1% to $24.5 billion, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said in a statement.
