CHINA'S exports in yuan terms fell less than forecast in March, as the coronavirus pandemic hurt both global demand and China’s ability to produce and ship goods. Imports increased.

Exports declined 3.5% in yuan terms in March from a year earlier, while imports rose 2.4%, the customs administration said Tuesday. Economists had forecast that exports would decline by 12.8% while imports would shrink by 7%.
