TM appoints Razidan as new CFO

KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has named Razidan Ghazalli as the company's new chief financial officer (CFO) effective Nov 1, the company told the stock exchange today.

The 56-year-old accountant, who was appointed as financial advisor to TM on Sept 16, will replace Nor Fadhillah Mohd Ali.

Nor Fadhillah, 49, is leaving the telecommunication company at the end of October to pursue other opportunities, TM said in a separate filling with Bursa Malaysia today.

Razidan, according to TM, has 34 years of working experience in public accounting and others in the commercial sector within the telecommunication, plantation and logistics industry.

He was with Celcom Malaysia Bhd for nine years and had spent six years in various senior positions at Tradewinds Plantations Bhd before he left in December 2016.

Razidan also had a stint as CFO with the Sime Darby group before his departure in 2008.
