PETALING JAYA: Kee Ming Group Bhd has secured a RM44.17mil sub-contract to provide electrical engineering services for a hyperscale data centre project in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract was awarded by a third-party contractor which is principally involved in providing integrated mechanical and electrical solutions.
It added that the third party company focuses on electrical systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning cooling, and energy optimisation, with strong expertise in data centre infrastructure including power reliability, cooling systems and turnkey engineering, procurement and construction delivery for mission-critical facilities.
“The sub-contract works are expected to be completed by July 30, 2027 in accordance with the project schedule.”
Kee Ming said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings, earnings per share and net assets of the company for the financial year ending March 31, 2027 and onwards throughout the duration of the works.
