Boost for KKB Engineering with six-year Petronas contract


Its job scope for the contract involves supplying concrete cement and metal for the upgrading of the Train Cargo Terminal at Padang Besar, Perlis, Dolphin said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd's subsidiary OceanMight Sdn Bhd has been qualified as one of Petronas' contractors for the provision of engineering. procurement and construction of fixed offshore structure works.

In a filing with the stock exchange, KKB said OceanMight has accepted and signed the Petronas frame agreement for the said works.

A formal contract shall be executed within three months of the acceptance of the award, and will be effective from Dec 12, 2018, for a period of six year.

At 12.30pm, KKB was trading one sen or 1.2% lower at 85.5 sen a share on the back of a low volume of 34,000 units.
