Goh Wee Peng appointed CEO of AmFunds Management


KUALA LUMPUR: AmInvest's Goh Wee Peng has been appointed the chief executive officer (CEO) of AmFunds Management Bhd, effective Aug 28, 2018.

AmBank Group said in a statement that Goh has more than 16 years of experience in the funds management industry, starting her career with AmInvest in September 2002.

Under her leadership, AmInvest grew to be the top five unit trust fund houses in Malaysia, with an award-winning track record that has recently been honoured with Malaysia's Best Investment Management Company, Best Asset and Fund Manager and Islamic Institutional House of the Year awards.

AmInvest is the brand for the funds management business of AmInvestment Bank Bhd which manages both conventional and Shariah-compliant funds. - Bernama
