Maybulk posts pre-tax losses of RM23m


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Bulk Carrier Bhd registered a pre-tax loss of RM23.12mil in the first quarter ended March 31, 2015, down by RM46.35mil from the RM23.24mil profit a year ago.

Maybulk said on Wednesday revenue fell to RM51.75mil from RM71.72mil. The main contributors to the drop were the extremely depressed dry bulk rates and lower contribution from PACC Offshore Services Holdings Ltd (POSH).
