TNB signs pact to operate power facility


PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with its wholly owned subsidiary, TNB Connaught Bridge Sdn Bhd, to construct, own, operate and maintain a gas-fired combined cycle electricity-generating facility with a total nominal capacity of 375MW proposed to be located in Klang, Selangor.

The project to construct, own, operate and maintain the facility was awarded by the Energy Commission to TNB Connaught Bridge in order to meet the generation requirements in Peninsular Malaysia.
