Carimin partners with Middle East companies

KUALA LUMPUR: Carimin Petroleum Bhd, oil and gas (O&G) services provider has inked collaboration agreements with Makamin Offshore Saudi Ltd (MOS) and Petrol Allied International DMCEST (PAI) to jointly tender for oil and gas business activities in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.

In a press release on Monday, Carimin said it would provide its expertise in hook-up and commissioning services (HUC), topside major maintenance (TMM), subsea inspection, repair and maintenance services including chartering of marine vessels and the provision of professional manpower.

“The collaborative agreements leverages not only on the parties’ respective competencies and track records, but also to share intimate knowledge of the target regional markets,” said Carimin managing director Mokhtar Hashim.

Furthermore, Mokhtar added that the group is optimistic on the collaborations, as it has driven the company into the international market.

“The parties are committed to supporting each other to be successful in the potential projects by identifying clear execution plans and promotional activities,” Carimin added.
