Nazir Razak to take over as chairman of CIMB Group (Update)


Datuk Seri Nazir Razak will relinquish his post as CIMB Group Holdings Bhd group chief executive and take over as the chairman.

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Nazir Razak will take over as chairman of the CIMB Group from Tan Sri Md Nor Yusof with effect from Sept 1.

The banking group said on Thursday, Nazir would relinquish his position as Group CEO which he had held for 15 years.
