Cathay Pacific profit soars Airline earnings jump more than two-fold to US$335mil


BEIJING: Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, the world’s largest international cargo carrier, saw its annual earnings jump more than two-fold as it introduced more premium economy seats on long haul routes

The airline’s more spacious economy seats have been particularly popular on long flights to Europe and the United States, and command prices that are on average 80% higher than for regular economy seats, according to UOB Kay Hian analyst K Ajith.
