PPB eyes more water jobs, unit chemQuest aims to double order book

KUALA LUMPUR: PPB Group Bhd’s environmental engineering, waste management and utilities arm, chemQuest Sdn Bhd, is aiming to double its order book next year from the current RM330mil as it targets bigger jobs in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

chemQuest’s group managing director Leong Yew Weng said he saw huge potential in the multi-billion ringgit Langat 2 water treatment plant, the need to address the non-revenue water issues as well as the consolidation of Selangor water assets now that the Federal government, state government and industry players are in advance talks on the water deal.
