KUALA LUMPUR: Bumi Armada Bhd
is eyeing more jobs in the African region with Russian oil major Lukoil, the world’s No. 2 oil and gas company by proven reserves behind ExxonMobil, following a vessel contract it clinched yesterday.
“Lukoil is now in three countries in Africa, namely Ghana, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone, and they just started a major drilling programme there,” Bumi Armada CEO and executive director Hassan Basma told journalists.
